Our story
A name borrowed from a breeze.
Meaning
Samal is inspired by a Central Asian word for a gentle, refreshing breeze. It felt right for garments that should move lightly, sit close to the body, and still leave room to breathe.
The brand is being developed between Prague and future EU manufacturing partners, with the first collection kept deliberately small: one bralette, one brief, one maternity body, and two calm colours.

The visual inspiration starts with rhythm: borders, repeated geometry, and the feeling of a line made by hand. Those ideas are translated into trims and proportions rather than direct reproduction.
Pattern development is slow because intimate garments need accuracy. The first sketches and fit notes are placeholders for the real sampling process: where a strap sits, how an underband recovers, and whether embroidery remains soft against skin.
Sustainability claims will stay modest until supply decisions are final. For now, the work is focused on small-run manufacturing, considered materials, and fewer pieces with clearer intent.
